How the Pouch Packaging Machine Works
The collar type machine receives pre-made pouches from a magazine stack where a suction arm picks each pouch and places it on the forming collar. The pouch opens automatically as it passes through air-blow nozzles, then moves to the filling station where the product is dispensed by weight or volume. Heat-sealing jaws close the top of the pouch, creating a secure seal before the finished pouch is discharged onto the collection conveyor. The FFS variant takes a roll of flat film, forms it into a tube around the forming tube, seals the bottom and back seam, fills the product, then seals the top and cuts individual pouches.
